Chaminade Gets Cancer Research Grant

Chaminade University was awarded a $30,000 grant from Alana Dung Foundation to fund cancer research. The grant will be split equally between two of Chaminade’s research faculty, chemistry professor Joel Kawakami and biology professor Michael Weichhaus. HPH Staff Raise Over $1 Million

Hawai‘i Pacific Health employees gathered with president and CEO Ray Vara (center, behind check) to celebrate the results of its 2018 Employee Giving Campaign. More than 4,000 staff members donated their own money to help patients and their families by raising a record $1,070,115.
