Star-Advertiser Assists Kapiolani
Honolulu Star-Advertiser president and publisher Dennis Francis presented a check for $140,000 to the Kapi'olani Health Foundation in support of its Campaign for Hawaii's Children. Co-chaired by Dee Jay Mailer and Bert Kobayashi, the campaign hopes to fund the first phase of a 15-year master plan to rebuild Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children.
