A Galactic Scholarship
Soroptimist International of Waikiki Foundation recently presented Tiantian Yuan - who is pursuing a doctoral degree in astronomy at the University of Hawaii - with a Founder Region Fellowship Award, which includes a $10,000 scholarship. Soroptimist International of the Americas awards an average of $60,000 in scholarships to six deserving women each year. Pictured is Judy Lee (left) and Tiantian Yuan.
