UH Federal Credit Union Gives $19K To AUW
University of Hawai‘i Federal Credit Union has partnered with Aloha United Way to support local families affected by the COVID-19 crisis. One of the ways that UHFCU raised funds for AUW was through sales of custom face masks beginning in July 2020. By the end of the year, over 3,500 masks were sold, and the proceeds, along with generous contributions from UHFCU members, resulted in a total of $19,000 to help over 1,200 individuals and 700 families. In honor of reaching the milestone, UHFCU is holding a special sale of its limited-run masks for $7 each or three for $16, with proceeds benefiting AUW, available at UHFCU.com.
