Manoa School's New Mini-Library
Manoa Elementary School librarian Imelda Amano and more than 500 of her students decided to making the library more fun and inviting by modeling it after the state's bookmobile. The mini-library will visit a different grade level each month, bringing the school's collection of books to students. The goal is to increase reading on campus. Amano consulted with Graham Builders president Evan Fujimoto, who reached out to his contacts to help fund the rolling bookcase. Total Building Products donated the cabinets, Cabinet Connection supplied the hardware and Graham Builders donated the labor. Pictured are library club members Emma Chung, Raquel Fujita and Sora Chu.
