Motocross Athlete Places At Tourney
Local boy Wayne Rhoden was chosen to represent the state in a motocross world invitational event, competing with athletes from all corners of the globe. Pictured are (from left) Rhoden, Gov. PWH Scholars Support Make-A-Wish
The 70 students and leaders of the Perseverance, Wisdom, Hope Scholars Program gathered at Sacred Hearts Academy to volunteer and give a donation to Make-A-Wish Hawai‘i. The group did all the preparation for Make-A-Wish Hawai‘i’s Jingle Rock Run Dec. 16, and also sold mosaic art crosses, raising $3,000 for the nonprofi t.
