Recognizing Hearts Of Compassion

Samaritan Counseling Center Hawai‘i recently celebrated its 2024 Ho‘omenemene (Compassion) Award honorees. Among them was the Rev. Aldean “Al” Miles (second from right), who is an ordained minister and chaplain with Pacific Health Ministry. Funds Fuel Hot Water Needs At Kahauiki

Nareit Foundation recently awarded a $35,000 grant to the Institute for Human Services, which will use the funds to replace hot-water tank systems at 30-unit Kahauiki Village. Shipping Biz Adds 2 To Its Fleet

Two new Young Brothers barges will start transporting cargo in December. Kalohi and Nāulu are the newest additions to the fleet and will help Young Brothers provide safer, more efficient loading and unloading.
