PVS Gets Financial Boost From Elks
Elks Lodge 616 recently donated $10,000 to Polynesian Voyaging Society. The funds will help PVS continue its outreach mission to schools and support the perpetuation of Polynesian wayfinding. FCU Donation Helps Build Up Hawai‘i’s Youth
Hawai‘i Building Industry Foundation recently received a $3,000 donation from HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union. The money will go toward the foundation’s education and scholarship fund to help students interested in pursuing a career in the building industry. Educator Wins Big
Kalani High School manufacturing educator Bryan Silver (left) was one of 25 teachers nationwide who won the 2024 Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence. The accolade comes with $15,000 for his personal use, as well as $35,000 for his school. Posing with Silver at the awards ceremony is Kalani High principal Mitchell Otani.
