Yonamine Receives Bridge Award

Japan-America Society of Hawai‘i presented the 2019 Bridge Award to Paul Yonamine (center), chairman and CEO of Central Pacific Financial Corp., and executive chairman of Central Pacific Bank, for building bridges of understanding and friendship between Hawai‘i and Japan. Yonamine was recognized at JASH’s annual dinner and silent auction Sept. 17 at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, “Celebrating the Dawn of Reiwa,” the beginning of a new era for Japan. BedMart Donates Mattresses To YWCA

BedMart presented its donation of 78 Tempur-Pedic mattresses with GBS Enterprise mattress protectors to YWCA Oct. 17. Matson assisted with transportation of the products, which are replacing the mattresses at YWCA Fernhurst Residence.
