Insurance Company Supports BBBS
DTRIC Insurance Co. recently gifted $5,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawai‘i. The funds will benefit the nonprofit’s mission to build and support one-on-one relationships to ignite the biggest possible futures for local youth. Island Insurance ‘Rises’ To The Occasion
Island Insurance Foundation, the charitable arm of locally owned company Island Insurance, committed $250,000 to University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s RISE project, raising the total amount of private donations for the endeavor to $1 million. RISE, which stands for Residences for Innovative Student Entrepreneurs, will be an innovation and entrepreneurship center, as well as a site for student housing. CBR Gives Back During The Holiday Season
To spread some Christmas cheer, Coldwell Banker Realty’s six O‘ahu locations adopted two ‘ohana each through the Laulima Giving Program’s Adopt-a-Family campaign. In total, the real estate company donated $7,500 in gifts, which included bikes, linens, clothing, toys, household cleaning supplies and toiletries, and gift cards.
