Ho‘omaluhia Showcases Favorite Windward Wanderer Creations

Windward Wanderers have wandered back to Ho‘omaluhia Botanical Garden for their annual art showcase.

“Wandering Through Art” is on view at the garden’s gallery Feb. 2-27.

Ten local artists will display works in watercolor, pastel, oil and gouache, as well as ceramics and wood, with all pieces available for purchase. The gallery will stage an artist reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

The group meets Wednesday mornings at selected Windward scenic sites to create together “en plein air,” have lunch and critique each other’s paintings. For more information, call Joan Fleming at 292-6351 or the garden at 233-7323.
