Help Family Center Fill Thanksgiving Baskets

Even the smallest gestures can be big ones at Kaneohe Community Family Center’s annual Baskets for Blessings, which will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday in King Intermediate School cafeteria.

The community service project provides baskets of food for needy local residents at Thanksgiving. Families are invited to help decorate and pack baskets, as well as to make cards to accompany the gifts. Contributions of non-perishable food, monetary donations and $10 grocery store gift cards also are welcome, particularly from those unable to attend the Saturday workday.
