Helen Lee Wins A $250 Spree At Kmart

Helen Lee needed to pick up her prescription, so Monday she took a trip to Kmart on Nimitz Highway. As she made her purchase at 1:45 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Helen with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Kmart shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Kmart because it’s convenient, there’s lots of parking, the prices are better than most other places and they have good service,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, an administrative secretary at the University of Hawaii. “Also, the store pretty much has everything I normally use.”

Helen was born and raised in China, and moved to Hawaii 43 years ago. In her free time, she enjoys reading, especially books that have suspense or are inspirational. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like it a lot for everything,” she said. “And I like that it gives you other people’s points of view.”
