Healthy Babies Vie Sept. 13 At Mall

Parents of hale and hearty babies can choose to turn them into award-winning tykes by entering the 2014 Healthy Baby Contest. Registration is open now for preliminary rounds, to be held 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 13 at Windward Mall and Sept. 20 at Kahala Mall.

To participate, babies must be between 12 and 30 months old (born between March 9, 2012, and Sept. 13, 2013). They will be judged in three categories: physical appearance, healthiness and personality. The top 50 finalists from the two rounds will reconvene at 10 a.m. Sept. 28 at Kahala Mall to crown a winner.

Register online at hawaiihealthybaby-contest.com by Sept. 6. Walk-in registration will be open on the day of the event from 11 a.m. to noon. Email confirmations with check-in times will be sent to online registrants.
