Hawaii Business Leaders on the Move In Hawaii
Lynne Kinney, principal in the wealth management firm CKW Financial Group, was named one the top 25 Women RIAs in the United States by wealthmanagement.com. Kinney has more than 19 years experience as an investment consultant and formed the CKW Group in 2009 with partners Carl Choy and Buzz Wo.
Suzanne Morrison has been hired by Hospice Hawaii as a registered nurse (RN). Prior to Hospice Hawaii, Morrison served as patient care manager at Odyssey Hospice in Colorado Springs, Colo. She also has held positions with Pikes Peak Cardiology, Kaiser Permanente and St. Francis Medical Center in Honolulu. Bringing with her 15 years of nursing experience, Morrison will facilitate communications among home staff, patients, families, caregivers, physicians and vendors.
Wade Orimoto has been promoted to data analyst manager in the health care services department of University Health Alliance (UHA). In this new role, Orimoto will manage data analytics to monitor health care utilization and expenses. He also is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of payment policies and medical benefits. Orimoto joined UHA in 1998.
Margaret Pettyjohn has been promoted to executive vice president of retail banking at American Savings Bank.
Pettyjohn joined ASB in 2010 and is responsible for the bank’s network of 57 branches serving individuals and small businesses. Prior to ASB, Pettyjohn served as executive vice president and director of retail support and delivery for The South Financial Group in Greenville, S.C. There she was responsible for consumer product performance, bank-wide call center and retail information centers.
Kate Poland has joined RIM Architects Hawaii office as a design assistant. Poland, who has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Iowa State University, previously worked on the design-build MCAS Operations complex at the Marine Corps base in Kaneohe.
