Goodwill Goes Glam Gala
VIP attended a preview night of shopping and a fashion show last month at the annual Goodwill Goes Glam at Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. The fashion show produced by Paul Brown featured ways to transform items from Goodwill into fashion-forward looks. An exclusive preview sale found guests searching through more than 40,000 items packed into 20,000 square feet of retail space to create their own look at bargain prices. Monies raised during the three-day event help fund Goodwill’s nonprofit job training and job readiness programs. Last year, Goodwill served more than 13,000 individuals and placed more than 1,600 into meaningful jobs.
