Goodwill Donation Drive, Butterflies At Pearlridge

Stop by Pearlridge Center Saturday, June 29 and July 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and donate two shopping bags of new or gently used apparel, shoes, handbags or accessories to Goodwill Industries of Hawaii, and receive a “Grow Guy” desktop planter or two butterfly magnets of your choice. Donations can be dropped off at Pearlridge Uptown Center Court. One shopping bag is equivalent to one standard plastic grocery bag. One gift per donor. Also, visit the mall’s 16th annual summer exhibit, Flutter: A Green Experience, on display through July 14. The museum-quality display features a host of eco-friendly, hands-on educational activities, including The Butterfly Pavilion, housing approximately 125 living butterflies, where keiki can see the life cycle from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly.

The special “Grow Guy” and butterfly magnet gifts are available only June 29 and July 6, but Goodwill will collect donations through July 14 at convenient donation spots throughout Pearlridge Center, including The Body Shop, The Diamond Fairy, Razor Concepts, Razor Sports, Sephora, Tapestries by Hauoli, T&C Surf Designs, HIC, Mark’s Hallmark and Sanrio Surprises.
