Golf Tourney Supports Student Achievement

American Savings Bank has partnered with Junior Achievement to host the 15th annual Junior Achievement Golf Classic Sept. 30 at Hawaii Prince Golf Club.

“We are fortunate to have the support of American Savings Bank as our title sponsor for our 15th annual Junior Achievement Golf Classic,” stated Kimberly Canepa, Junior Achievement of Hawaii president.

“With the help and support of our banking and business community, we will be able to provide more financial literacy and work-readiness programs for Hawaii’s students.”

All proceeds benefit Junior Achievement of Hawaii programs, which focus on skills such as personal money management, filling out job applications, entrepreneurial thinking and more.

Check-in and lunch begin at 10:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at noon.

An awards banquet follows the modified scramble-format tournament at 5:30 p.m.
