Giving The Gift Of Blood In ’14
Here’s one gift no one needs to buy or return, and people appreciate it even after the holiday season.
Hawaii Blood Bank has scheduled several donor drives in Windward Oahu in January for National Blood Donor Month, welcoming those it calls “everyday heroes” who selflessly give blood to save the lives of neighbors they may never meet.
The ideal donor is age 18 or older, in good health, weighs more than 110 pounds and has valid photo identification and proof of birth date.
To make an appointment at one of the following drives, call 848-4770.
