George Yukitomo Wins A $250 Spree At Kmart

George Yukitomo needed baby formula for his granddaughter, so on Friday he took a trip to Kmart in Salt Lake. As he made his purchase at 12:45 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached George with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Kmart shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Kmart because they have a good selection of tools and toys for my grandkids,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, who does auto body work and paint. “Also, my kids like the Little Caesars here.”

George lives in Aiea with wife Marla, and they have three children and four grandchildren. In his free time, the 1973 Kamehameha Schools graduate enjoys fixing cars and baby-sitting.

He also likes to read MidWeek. “I like the Poll, the Islander community insert, the articles and the ads,” he said.
