Garden Design Class March 29

Wahiawa Historical Society will sponsor the first of several workshops from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday to help area homeowners prepare for its annual Landscape Contest.

The public also is welcome to this one, which will be at Wahiawa Botanical Garden.

A professional landscape architect and master gardener will lead the free program, and past winners are invited to share their secrets on design and plant care.

Contest entry forms and further details are available at the garden and at Wahiawa Library. Entry fee is $15, and only Wahiawa residents may compete.

Judging is in October.
