Free Food For Ewa Beach Needy

November has long been known as a month of thanks, but it’s also a time to give back to those less fortunate.

Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii will distribute free food Friday at its Hale Pono Ewa Beach Clubhouse.

Seniors are welcome from 3 to 3:45 p.m., and families of five or more can head down from 3:45 to 4:15.

The public is welcome from 4:15 to 5 p.m., and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

While the food is free, be sure to bring your own shopping bag for easy carrying.

Thanks to a partnership among Hale Pono Ewa Beach Clubhouse, Hawaii Foodbank and Ewa Weed and Seed, the community can look forward to nourishing foods every other month. What started as a quarterly project has turned into much more because of the growing need in the Ewa Beach community.
