Foodbank’s Check-Out Hunger Program Launch
Hawaii Foodbank launched its 19th annual Check-Out Hunger program Nov. 5. The fundraising campaign is designed to help feed Hawaii’s hungry during the holiday season. To kick off the program, Kraft Foods presented the food bank with a $5,000 donation. Joining Kraft Foods at the kickoff was a host of representatives from participating grocery stores including Bob Stout, president of Times Supermarkets. The program runs through Jan. 16, 2013.
