Focus on Windward Oahu

St. John Vianney's third-grade class took first place/youth division in Honolulu Hale's Christmas Wreath Contest, as part of the 30th annual Honolulu City Lights celebration. Made of all recyclable materials, the ‘Plastic Pretties' wreath earned a $150 cash prize for the Kailua school, and was created by (from left) Sage Betancourt, Kain Silva, Lawa Palafox, Emma Laurel, Edward Ferguson, Reagan Beissel, Alex Asing, Hayden Broadbent, Kaia Park, Elsa Vazquez, John Creedon and Isabella Carrico.
