Focus on Windward Oahu

HMSA presented its 2014 Kaimana Scholarships June 14 at the convention center to 21 student athletes across the state, including $3,000 to Casey Doyle of Le Jardin Academy (left), $3,000 to Darlene-Raye Dumlao of Kailua High School and $3,000 to Max Vinci of Castle High. Vinci also won an additional $2,000 as a Distinguished Scholar. The annual awards recognize youths who excel academically and athletically while making a difference in their communities.
