The rate-payer funded Hawaii Energy program staged a free daylong workshop Feb. 25 at Koolau Ballrooms for teachers, to assist them in teaching energy conservation to students, as well as how to make buildings more efficient. Presented by the National Energy Education Development Project, the event included valuable energy kits for each participant, as well as breakfast and lunch at the Kaneohe conference center.
