Nonprofit AccesSurf Hawaii hosted its monthly Day at the Beach last month at White Plains Beach in Kalaeloa. According to the organization, the free program helps "introduce adaptive aquatic recreation" by allowing participants to utilize specialized surfboards, wave skis and floatation devices. Participants' family members also enjoyed a beautiful day at the event's outdoor recreation area. Kamerin Nadgwick catches a wave with the help of AccesSurf volunteer Trey Balding.
