Na Kama Kai hosted Ocean Safety and Conservation Awareness clinics at Ewa Beach Park Nov. 9. Stations included board shaping, ocean safety, SUP, canoes and information on Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument. One activity involved taking the children out in the water in canoes (below) to show them a different perspective of the aina, and share with them the relationship between the land and ocean, and why we need to take care of both.
