Several Windward Lions clubs sponsored the annual Picnic for the Blind April 18 at Manawale‘a riding center in Waimanalo, where paraplegic Renisha Jahier rides Humvee, as Gary Gural and John Keough keep her steady. Horse handlers Brooke Pitner, Janet White and Ke‘aka Garay also cheerfully help out.
