Ko'olaupoko Hawaiian Civic Club and HECO sponsored Lei Day festivities April 28 at Windward Mall center court, including exhibits and entertainment by Ekolu Makou, Puohala Hawaiian Immersion School and others. A highlight was the sharing of techniques by lei-making experts, helping fans of all ages perfect their creations for competition.
