Folk artist Eric Dowdle (right) presented his painting to Polynesian Cultural Center president Von Orgill at a Dec. 18 luncheon at the Laie park. Dowdle also transformed his painting into a 500-piece puzzle, making the whimsical artwork available to fans at retailers nationwide.
