Le Jardin Academy student Nicole Tanaka (holding artwork) has won the T-shirt design contest (and $100) for the 2013 'I Love Kailua' town party, sponsored by the Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle. With her at the Dec. 11 presentation are (from left) her art teacher, Amy Manso; local artist and past LKOC president Joan Fleming, current LKOC president Lyn Turner, LJA headmaster Adrian Allan and Lisa Tanaka (Nicole's mom).
