Nonprofits in the community celebrated Ramsar World Wetlands Day Feb. 4 at Kawainui Marsh in Kailua. The day included tours of the marsh, demonstrations, lectures, films, food and exhibits on conservation and updates on marsh restoration. Keale plays originals and local family favorites on the ukulele.
