Wet‘n’Wild Hawaii unveiled its new Waimea Whirl with a blessing and public opening May 9 at the Kapolei water park, its first new ride in six years. According to Wet‘n’Wild Hawaii, riders pair up on an inner tube, drop into Waimea Whirl and swirl around a funnel-shaped bowl before gravity flushes them down the drain.
