Volunteers from Hawaiian Railway Society and Hunt Hawaii joined forces last month to conduct ongoing preservation efforts on the society's track that runs from Ewa to Nanakuli. The group removed broken track ties and installed new ones. Replacing the ties regularly is critical to keeping the tracks operating smoothly.
