This mobile sand-sifter from RevoluSun assisted in the July 13 Sandy Beach Cleanup, where volunteers collected hundreds of pounds of small marine debris. Developed by local contractor Jason Tucker Hills, the device is able to pull out micro-plastic litter from the sand. The annual event was a partnership of the solar company with Surfrider Foundation's Oahu chapter. Photo from Starr Dods.
