FilCom Forum Urges Trade In Philippines
The Hawaii Chamber of Commerce plans a Business & Trade Forum and Workshop next week in Waipahu featuring guest speakers and panels that will explore the growing investment opportunities of “Asia’s next economic tiger,” the Philippines.
The program, presented in partnership with the Consulate General Honolulu, runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 7 at the FilCom Center and costs $20 at the door (including lunch and notepad). Speakers are Philippines trade representative Archimedes Gomez, former PI Securities and Exchange Commission chairman Perfecto Yasay and U.S. Commercial Service director John Holman. One-on-one counseling and informational exhibits also are planned on importing, exporting, sub-contracting, manufacturing, renewable energy, real estate and other operations.
