Festival Benefits Pets In Need
Waianae-based animal rescue group K9 Kokua hosts its Fall PETS Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Neal Blaisdell Park in Waimalu.
All proceeds from the festival benefit dogs in need.
The event features games, live music, contests and raffles. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome to attend accompanied by their humans, and there will be plenty of fun for these furry friends as well.
Pet owners can take their dogs to the Pawticure Booth, which offers nail trims, and get pet ID tags made on site.
Other animal advocacy groups also are joining the cause along with K9 Kokua. They include Equine 808, No Need Fo’ Breed and Hawaiian Humane Society.
The city park is located at 98-319 Kamehameha Hwy.
