Feel Better At Lanikai Night

Lanikai Elementary School plans a Wellness Night from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday for its ohana and the public, featuring everything from a bike rodeo to a farmers market at 140 Alala Road.

For the more active visitors, there’s an obstacle course, live Zumba and a bike rodeo. For healthy eaters, the school has invited Kahumana Farms to set up a marketplace of fresh produce and value-added, prepared foods. Holoholo General Store will conduct food demonstration, and the school’s Green Team and Garden Club will share updates on its Aina in the Schools program.

Also participating are Kokua Plastic Free Hawaii, Skin Cancer Foundation, Hawaii Heart Foundation,

Honolulu Fire Department (blood pressure checks from 4 to 5 p.m.), Oahu Spine and Rehab (chair massages, spinal checks) and Waimanalo Health Center.
