Ewa Workshop For Small Biz
In its ongoing effort to help small businesses grow, the Hawaii District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration will host a resource day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 27 at the Central Pacific Bank Ewa Beach Branch.
The event provides small business owners with the chance to receive a free, 30-minute consultation on the resources available to them through SBA. Participants can discuss loans for working capital, long-term financing and more.
Lenders, along with a business development specialist from SBA, will be available for consultations.
“SBA wants to be available and accessible to the customers who use our programs and services,” explained SBA district director Jane Sawyer.
“In these confidential 30-minute consultations, the specialist can provide links, resources, information, and insight to small business owners and entrepreneurs who are starting or expanding their business venture,” Sawyer explained.
“Whether the customer is seeking basic guidance, referrals, financing, exporting tips, contracting opportunities or other ‘how to’s,’ Resource Days are a focused, fast way to get facts to support your business success.”
Sawyer added that small businesses in any stage of growth or development can benefit be attending the resource day, which is suitable for businesses in a range of industries – from corporations and contractors to retailers and restaurants.
