Ewa Beach Boys & Girls Club Enjoys A Night At The Theater

Toyota Hawaii hosted nearly 400 children ages 5-17 from various charitable youth organizations, including the Ewa Beach Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii, to enjoy themselves at the premiere performance of Elf the Musical at Diamond Head Theatre earlier this month.

The auto dealer wanted to give the keiki a chance to experience an evening at the theater with their families.

Elf the Musical tells the story of Buddy, an orphan who is raised as an elf but discovers that he is actually human. The show runs through Dec. 29.

Also joining the Ewa Beach group were HUGS (Help, Understanding and Group Support), Performing Arts Center of Kapolei, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii, Palama Settlement and Kids Hurt Too Hawaii.

“We feel privileged to be able to support these young people and their families who may not otherwise have access to this kind of artistic and educational opportunity,” said Glenn Inouye, senior vice president for Toyota Hawaii.
