Ernie Kim Wins A $150 Spree At Times Royal Kunia
On a recent Thursday, Ernie Kim needed to pick up groceries for dinner: pork guisantes and chicken adobo. So he took a trip to Times Super Market in Royal Kunia. As he made his purchase at 1:35 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Ernie with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $150 Times Super Market shopping spree.
“I live around here, so I always come to Times,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, who is retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and works part time at Waikele Country Club. “Also, the service is good.”
Ernie was born and raised in Kalihi, and graduated from Farrington High School in 1972. His hobbies include golfing, horseback riding and helping to take care of his sister’s four horses. He also likes to read MidWeek.
“I normally read Ron Nagasawa’s column, and I always wanted to do the Mid-Week Poll,” he said. “I also look for the food ads from various stores. I like all the articles, and the sudoku.”
