Emelita Raguindin Wins A $150 Spree At Times
On a recent Wednesday, Emelita Raguindin wanted to buy some fruits and vegetables, so she made a stop at Times in Waipahu. As she made her purchase at 11:20 a.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Emelita with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $150 Times Supermarkets spree.
“I like shopping at Times because the staff is so nice,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, who is retired from Central Pacific Bank. “The vegetables are fresh, the sales are good, and I always buy the steak plates. You can eat it right away, so no need cook.”
Emelita was born in the Philippines and moved to Hawaii in 1995. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, walking, exercising and shopping. She also likes to read MidWeek.
“I like Ron Nagasawa’s column,” she said. “I read everything, but the first thing I look for is the coupons and the supermarket ads. You can save a lot, you know.”
