Elders’ Tax Help At Area Libraries

AARP Tax Counseling for the Elderly offers assistance through April 15 at selected public libraries throughout the state, including the Wahiawa and Kahuku branches.

Hours at Wahiawa Library are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; Kahuku Library help is available from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays.

Trained volunteers from American Association of Retired Persons will be on hand to help residents of low to moderate income file their federal and state income tax returns. Free electronic filing also will be available. Bring valid picture ID, Social Security card and copies of 2013 returns.
