EAST-WEST DINNER HONORS GOV. ARIYOSHI

The East-West Center’s “International Affair” dinner at Sheraton Waikiki Hotel Aug. 4 honored former Gov. George Ariyoshi. He was presented with the EWC’s Asia Pacific Community Building Award, which recognized Ariyoshi’s dedication to strengthening the bonds of understanding between the people and nations of Asia and the United States.
