Diving Into The Culture Of Chinese Martial Arts
The sacred practice of martial arts has deep roots in Chinese culture, and Chinese martial arts history researcher Stanley Henning will discuss the topic Jan. 31.
Aiea Public Library will host the one-hour presentation at 1 p.m. in its program room. A brief question-and-answer session will follow Henning’s presentation. The new library is located at 99-374 Pohai Place.
Henning, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, has studied two popular forms of Chinese martial arts — Yang Style Taijiquan and Shanxi Che in Taiwan.
