‘Discover Kualoa’ With Games, Tours Saturday

It’s time for the second part of the three-months-long Windward festival celebrating Makahiki season.

Discover Kualoa will present the history and cultural legacy of Ka’a’awa from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Kualoa Ranch. The Ka’a’awa ahupuaa will offer an exploration walk, a Paniolo tour, Kid Zone, traditional Hawaiian games, a movie site tour, pond fishing and other activities.

The next “discovery” is planned for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 15 at the ranch, focusing on the legends and stories of the area.
