Crafting Unique Wreaths Dec. 6
The holiday swarm is upon us, and Christmas is on its way. To help residents prepare for it, Halawa Xeriscape Garden will offer a festive xeric holiday wreath-making workshop from 10:30 a.m. to noon Dec. 6 at the garden.
This year, akamai crafters can display their own less-thirsty wreathes, filled with color and festive holiday decorations.
Bring one round straw-type wreath form (not foam) that has a diameter no larger than 12 inches. Also required are 50 to 80 floral “U” pins, clippers, containers to hold wreath materials and any type of ribbon or holiday decorations.
Fee is $5 for the public and free to Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden members.
Registration opens today (Nov. 12). Call Diane Moses at 748-5363 or workshops@hbws.org.
