Compassion Awards Banquet
The Counseling and Spiritual Care Center of Hawaii celebrated its inaugural Ho’omenemene (Compassion) Awards banquet earlier this year at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii. The award is given to individuals and organizations who embody compassion. This year’s recipients are Rev. Yoshiaki Fujitani, Dr. Thomas W. Leland, the Pacific Health Ministry and the Domestic Violence Action Center.
