Clock Ticking On Neighbor Votes

The Neighborhood Commission has mailed passcodes to 180,000 eligible voters who may cast ballots from their own computers or at city venues for contested seats on the 2013-2015 neighborhood boards.

Voting period is between April 26 and May 17, and three Windward boards – Waimanalo, Kailua and Kaneohe – all have contested races, according to Bryan Mick of the commission office.

Those without computers can vote online on the second floor of the Mission Memorial Building next to Honolulu Hale, or at Kapolei Hale, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Residents also can vote by phone using a unique passcode (contained in the mailings).
